This platter is a Czech porcelain fired in the U.K. and is dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe. Text on the platter reads: "‘Oncorhynchus clarki’  Cutthroat trout are indigenous to the Rocky Mountains, have slender bodies, vary in appearance, but always have two red throat slashes and are normally heavily spotted towards the tail.  The scientific name is after Lewis and Clark’s early explorations into the West." This plate is 15 x 11 inches.
